Sending and receiving money is faster and easier with Wero. All services are linked directly to your current account in a wallet. This allows you to track Wero payments in real time at your convenience, easily and securely with App Sparkasse. This makes Wero a real alternative to existing international payment methods.
If your bank account is not displayed in your Wero profile, please restart the App Sparkasse. If you still cannot see your account in your Wero profile after reopening the app, please try again at a later date.
To link your Wero profile to your bank account, please follow these steps:
You can now send and request money with Wero.
Wero can only be linked to current accounts.

If you have several bank accounts linked to your Wero profile, you can select the account from which the payment is to be made when creating the payment request. Once a payment request has been created, it is no longer possible to change the recipient account. If you still want to change it, you must cancel the request and create a new one with the bank account you want to use.
No, it is not possible to link the same telephone number to different bank accounts.
Customers of most Sparkasse banks and many other banks in Germany can use Wero. Sparkasse customers will find Wero in the App Sparkasse. No additional app is required. Customers under the age of 18 should enquire directly with their local Sparkasse about whether they can use Wero.
Your payments will be debited from your account immediately upon validation. You will usually receive payments in your bank account immediately after the payer has sent them to you. This process usually takes less than 10 seconds.
To confirm a Wero transaction, you will be asked to authenticate yourself with your PIN code, fingerprint or facial recognition.
For your own security, do not share your PIN code with anyone else. Make sure that only you have access to your phone and lock your phone with a code, fingerprint or facial recognition.
